Battery Passport ingest preview
Early ingest of the EU Battery Passport data shape for industrial and traction batteries at intake.
What changed
Sustain360 can now ingest early Battery Passport data against the source VIN at the acquire stage. The EU Battery Passport regime is in phased rollout for industrial and EV traction batteries placed on the EU market, and the ingest preview captures the data shape as it currently stands.
Captured battery data is anchored to the source VIN, surfaced on the vehicle record, and exportable to CSV. The platform does not yet produce a digital passport on outbound transfer — that step is the next milestone as the regulatory phase-in continues and the specification stabilises.
The preview is available to all tenants under the acquire stage as a tenant-level toggle. Aggregator customers handling EV vehicles across multiple yards can enable it network-wide.
