How is a binned part tied to a shelf location?

Every shelf and bin has a code. Scanning the shelf code on bin-in confirms the location. The platform always knows which bin a part is in and the operator who last touched it.

Does Sustain360 regrade parts at binning?

Yes. Binning is a second grading opportunity, against the same A / B / C rubric. Regrades are recorded with the operator, the time, and a reason.

What happens to a part that doesn't make it to the shelf?

The platform flags it. Parts that are dismantled but not binned within a configurable window appear on a station-level exception queue so they never quietly disappear.

Bin is the station between teardown and listing. Every removed part is labelled with a Code-128 or QR code, graded against the same A / B / C rubric, and shelved to a known location. The platform always knows which bin a part is in and which operator last touched it.
