Depollution Certificate
The document confirming an ELV has been depolluted to regulation.
Definition
Depollution Certificate
- Depollution Certificate
- A Depollution Certificate is the document confirming that hazardous fluids, batteries, refrigerants, and airbags have been removed from a vehicle in line with EU ELV and UK ATF requirements. Sustain360 produces a signed PDF depollution certificate per vehicle, attached to the source VIN's audit trail and downloadable from the report stage. The certificate references the operator who signed off depollution, the date and time, the streams captured by weight, and the facility identifier — enough that an inspector can connect the document back to the workflow that produced it. The certificate is one of the documents a UK ATF needs to substantiate a Certificate of Destruction and one of the documents an EU dismantler needs to substantiate ELV directive reporting. Sustain360 keeps every certificate in the tenant's vehicle history indefinitely, with CSV export against any filter.
