Pickup Slip

The document accompanying a customer collection — paper or digital — confirming what is being collected.

Definition

Pickup Slip

Pickup Slip
A Pickup Slip is the document that accompanies a customer collection at the yard, listing the parts being collected, the customer, the order reference, and the order total paid. In legacy yard workflows the pickup slip is a paper sheet kept on a clipboard; in Sustain360 it is digital, rendered on the customer's device, on the yard's pickup station, and as a Zebra-printed paper backup. Every scan on collection updates the order ledger in real time, so accounts and the storefront see the same status. Pickup slips reference the source VIN and bin location for every part, so pickup staff can confirm the right unit comes off the right shelf. Customer signatures on collection can be captured digitally where the legal context allows, and the slip is archived against the order indefinitely. Pickup slip workflows tie into the fulfil stage and the PayPal capture ledger so payments and physical handover stay aligned.
