Definition

Dismantler

Dismantler
A Dismantler is a business that processes end-of-life vehicles to recover usable parts, fluids, and materials for resale or onward processing. Dismantlers may run a single yard or a group of yards. In the Sustain360 hierarchy, the Dismantler tenant sits between the Aggregator and the Yard, and the platform is sized at this level for most independent customers. The Dismantler tier supports configurable workflows, integrations, role-based access, and reporting across one or many yards under the same tenancy. A Dismantler typically employs the operational personas Sustain360 serves — yard managers, dismantlers, inspectors, binning operators, sales, pickup, accounts, and experts — and the platform's role model maps directly to those job functions. Compared with a generic ERP, the Dismantler tier is sized for the yard workflow: vehicles in, parts out, channels listed, paperwork filed.
