Definition

Yard

Yard
A Yard is a physical dismantling site — the place where end-of-life vehicles are received, depolluted, dismantled, and where recovered parts are shelved, listed, and sold. In Sustain360, the Yard is the lowest unit in the tenant hierarchy and the level at which workflow customisation happens. Each yard defines its own dismantling states, its own pricing rules, its own label templates, and its own role assignments. A single Dismantler tenant can run one yard or many, and a single Aggregator can run many dismantler groups across more than one market. The Yard is also the scope at which most operational personas work — yard managers, dismantlers, inspectors, binning operators, sales, pickup, and accounts. Cross-yard views — KPI dashboards, exception queues, audit roll-ups — sit at the Dismantler or Aggregator level, but the yard floor is the unit that actually runs.
